    Resorts World Genting is now welcoming visitors back to the hilltop.

    In line with our reopening procedures, the resort will begin operation with selected attractions, hotels, and dining outlets. Rest assured that strict health and safety protocols are being enforced all across the resort. You'll find the latest reopening updates here, as well as safety guidelines in our StaySafe Promise site.

    Though your journey with us might differ slightly from before, know that we are dedicated to providing the same exciting Resorts World Genting experience, now with safety as the utmost priority. 

    We have implemented MySejahtera Check-In throughout the resort. You are encouraged to download and register the MySejahtera application prior to your visit to our resort for convenient access to our premises and facilities.

    Wearing of Face Masks and Scanning of MySejahtera QR Code are required at Resorts World Genting

    The Malaysian Government has announced that wearing face masks in crowded public areas is required starting from 1 August 2020. In line with this directive, all guests visiting Resorts World Genting are required to wear face masks. Guests must also scan the MySejahtera QR code at all main entrances of the resort prior to entry for contact tracing purposes. For your convenience, we encourage you to download the MySejahtera mobile app before your arrival.

    As part of our efforts to keep our community safe, the resort will not admit individuals with a body temperature of 37.5°C and above; display flu-like symptoms; Persons Under Surveillance (PUS); and Persons Under Investigation (PUI).Thank you for your support and we look forward to welcoming you to a safe and memorable holiday.

    We recommend that you use the hand sanitizer provided at the counter when you purchase a ticket. When joining a queue for a ride, please follow the floor markers for safe distancing. We have increased the sanitization of our rides with emphasis on frequent contact surfaces, such as the seats, handrails and safety harnesses.

    Entry will be for Genting Rewards members only. Public entry into the casino will resume as soon as possible.


    All guests will have their temperature checked upon entry. 


    We monitor the number of guests in the casino and ensure that it is not overcrowded. Additionally, only limited players are to be expected at each table game.

    Slot and ETG machines will be operating alternately. We ask that you keep the seat next to you empty at all times. If unsure, please use the floor markers as a guide.


    All guests are required to scan the QR code from the MySejahtera app upon entry and exit. 


    Automated hand sanitizers are available throughout the casino floor. We encourage players to sanitize their hands before and after gaming. You are also encouraged to wear masks in public spaces.


    We have increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing of gaming equipment and machines. All banknotes are sterilized and gaming chips are disinfected with advanced antimicrobial coating technology. Kindly exchange your old chips with newly disinfected chips.


    Before you game, please load a cash amount into your Genting Rewards card. This amount becomes e-CASH, which you will use for all gaming transactions. Load at the cashier counter, Cash Deposit Machine, or any gaming machines.


    Service Ambassadors are present at the casino floor to help you observe safe distancing, perform random temperature scanning, and provide assistance.

    Hotel rooms undergo a strict disinfection regime before they are released for guest use. Key cards are sanitized upon issuance and return.

    Guest amenities are also placed in sealed bags for additional protection. Amenities which cannot be wiped or sanitized (i.e. stationery) have been removed to avoid cross-contamination. They are, however, available upon request.

    High-touch areas such as door handles, lift buttons, gym and spa equipment are also sanitized on an hourly basis.

    Hand sanitizers are widely available throughout the hotels. Guests are also encouraged to wear masks in public.


    All staff members have been trained to adhere to new operating procedures. This includes increased disinfection of common surface areas such as tables and self-ordering kiosks on an hourly basis.

    All condiments, sets and cutlery baskets have also been removed as they pose cross-contamination risks. Condiments, however, are available upon request. Pre-wrapped and disposable cutlery sets have been introduced as well.

    SkyAvenue , First World Plaza & Awana SkyCentral is open from 10am to 10pm daily.

    Awana SkyWay will operate from 7am to 12 midnight. Selected parking spaces will be open for public use.

    Express Bus Services between the resort and KL Sentral/Terminal Putra LRT Gombak will also be operational.

    We have two medical clinics operating 24/7. Any guests or employees who show flu-like symptoms will be isolated and examined by medical professionals. We’ve also prepared six ambulances, so that we’re ready in the event of a medical emergency.
